Package Design: FIXED
This project required the creation of packaging based around a set of items. The objects needed to revolve around a central theme and the final product would need to reflect that. I created a skate kit containing replacement bearings, bearing lubricant, shoe glue, and a t-tool; the intended usage is for skaters who need a kit to make on-the-fly repairs while they are out. Because this was meant to be carried while skating, the final product was designed to be compact in order to fit comfortably in a small backpack. Additionally, the material used, chip board, was quite thick to enhance its durability. The image of a skatepark is wrapped around the package, typography and other elements are positioned using the structure of the park as a loose grid.

2 - Concept sketches were then expanded to demonstrate how the individual components would fit together.

3 - The name “Fixed” was chosen and a logo was developed. This logo then helped guide the rest of the design decisions.
